Check in & check out

Check-in at reception or online up 48 hours before arrival. Reception is open 24 hours a day.

Rooms guaranteed from 4pm but are usually ready earlier. We can look after your luggage until your room is ready.

Latest check-out is 10:30am but you can continue to use the hotel facilities and park throughout your departure day.

Parking info

The only hotel on the seafront with free car parking.

Our main large car park is 200 yards away – we’ll give you a permit and directions when you arrive.

Limited space on the seafront for check-in and luggage drop. Depending on our occupancy you may be able to stay parked here.

Pet policy

Yes, being a family of dog lovers we are dog friendly.

We must be informed if you are bringing your furry friend prior to your arrival – select the dog add-on when booking.

We welcome fully house trained dogs over 12 months old and subject to our full terms and conditions.

Open daily between 8am and 8pm. Booking is not required.

The quietest period is between 10am and 3pm.

The swimming pool is heated to approximately 28°C and the whirlpool is heated to approximately 35°C.

The area is climatised to make it feel like a tropical environment and reduce humidity.

The shallow end is 0.8m deep and the deep end is 1.75m deep.

We provide towels for use in the swimming pool and whirlpool.

We do not provide towels for use on the beach, so please ensure that you bring your own.

Double beds = 4ft 6in

Single beds in Twin Rooms = 3ft

Single beds in Family Rooms = 3ft or 2ft 6in

Yes, every room has a kettle as well as tea, coffee, sugar and cups – replenished daily by housekeeping if required.

Yes, each room has a hairdryer located in the top of the wardrobe or in the top drawer.

No, our rooms do not have [mini] fridges. We can store your medication for you in our fridge at reception.

Yes, there is a USB socket – type A and C – in each room, usually by the dressing table.

Our budget friendly rooms in Bay View and Regent Court do not feature USB sockets so make sure to pack a plug.

Yes, iron and ironing boards are provided upon request to reception.

Yes, complementary WiFi is provided throughout the hotel – including bedrooms.

We have a fibre to the premises connection with a low ping meaning fast response and low latency or “lag”. Bandwidth is limited to 25mbps download and 8mbps upload for each device – perfect for browsing, HD streaming, light gaming or work.

We do not charge for infants (under 2 years of age).

We can provide a cot for a small additional charge – select the cot add-on when booking or you are welcome to bring your own travel cot with you.

Breakfast is served daily and you can walk-in each day on a pay-as-you-go basis, or pre-book and pay in advance for your whole stay at reception when you arrive.

No, we do not have a sauna.

If we organised your ferry travel for you then please contact us to request a change.

The ferry operator will be unable to speak with you direct due to data protection, so please don’t contact them yourselves.

If you made your own travel arrangements, please contact the company you booked with.

VAT invoices are automatically issued by email at 8:30am on your departure day. To request a copy invoice please contact us.

Our VAT registration number is GB 108 891 451.

If you booked direct with us by telephone, email or on our website, please contact us.

If you booked via a third party website or company, please contact them initially and make the request. You may be able to do this through your online account with them.

They are parts of the hotel home to 20 of our budget friendly bedrooms.

How to get to us

We may be on an island with no fixed link, but getting here is easier than you think…

By Car

We can to book your car ferry travel for you from Southampton to East Cowes, and return, with Red Funnel at heavily discounted rates.

Select the add-on when booking or contact us to add it onto an existing booking. Tell us your preferred sailing times; we’ll book it subject to availability, and send you your ticket.

Or you can book your own Wightlink crossing from Portsmouth > Fisbourne or Lymington > Yarmouth.

On Foot

We cannot book foot passenger ferry travel for you at this time, but we can point you in the right direction.

There’s three foot passengers options:

Southampton > West Cowes (Red Jet)

Southsea > Ryde (Hovertravel)

Portsmouth Harbour > Ryde Pier (Wightlink)

Buses and trains are easily accessible once you arrive on the island, or there’s taxi ranks adjacent. 

Buses & Trains

The Island Line train service operates from Ryde Pier to Shanklin with a station in Sandown just 15 minutes away.

Southern Vectis operate buses around the island, with a stop just behind us on the High Street and Victoria Road.

If you’re arriving into Cowes, you’ll need bus route 1 then 2, 3 or 8 – number 8 is the quickest.

If you’re arriving into Ryde, you’ll need bus route 2, 3 or 8 – number 2 is the quickest.
